Larry Stessel- Managing Partner

Larry Stessel has been a widely respected and successful senior music executive for over 35 years and has been responsible for marketing some of the biggest selling albums in music history, including Michael Jackson’s Thriller, the biggest selling album of all time. He has served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of three major music companies (Epic/Sony, Mercury/Universal and EMI Records) and President of an independent distribution company directing label development and acquisition, sales, artist relations and marketing. In addition, Larry has produced and directed highly rated television specials for Michael Jackson and Gloria Estefan receiving the Cable Ace Award for Showtime’s Gloria Estefan Homecoming Special.

Larry’s client list has included some of the biggest companies and artists in the music business including Sony Music Entertainment, Universal Music Group, EMI Records, the NFL, Sting, The Who, Bon Jovi, Celine Dion, Pearl Jam and Michael Jackson. Stessel is one of those rare individuals with the savvy, knowledge, relationships and vision to help clients navigate a music universe that may be unfamiliar to them. In 1998, Stessel formed Trillium Entertainment, a music industry consulting firm, with clients ranging from Diana Ross to Sting.

Stessel created Revolver Marketing Group in 2006 with Stephen Dessau in order to combine their knowledge and background in the music business with the world of event marketing for artists and consumer brands.

Mr. Stessel is a graduate and past Board Member of Leadership Music -Nashville (2010-2013) and a current Executive Board Member of the Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC). He is a graduate of the University of Florida where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing and is currently an Adjunct Professor at Belmont University in Nashville teaching an MB A course entitled “Strategic Marketing In The Music Business”.
